Dear April,
I welcome you, my dearest April. The month of summer in the Southeast, the month of piety for Roman Catholics, the month of calm, and rest.
But unfortunately, my dear April, the world is quite in an unrest. And I pray you bring happiness and peace to the world. I pray you hear the pleas of us humans: be kind and gentle. Bring safety, peace, and a month of joyous, momentous occasion.
I admit, I am quite frightened of how you will grace us for 30 days, but please, April, bring good news. Be much better than the last three months before you. April, my whole future may or may not be in your hands.
I pray, with all my heart, you will do well. For now, I welcome you, April. I will write to you again, once your time ends. And I hope I have nothing but joy and blessing to write on your last day.
‘Til then, my love.
